About the event
The New York State Food Summit is a biennial event that unites anti-hunger and nutrition security stakeholders from across the state, including service providers, academics, advocates, policymakers, and community leaders. Hosted by The Alliance for a Hunger Free New York, NYS Food as Medicine Coalition, and The Food Pantries for the Capital District.
We are three member-driven coalitions representing emergency food services, community-based programs, healthcare, and mutual aid organizations—working collectively toward a nutrition secure, hunger-free New York.
New York Health Foundation Scholarships
Through generous support from the NY Health Foundation, conference scholarships are available to offset costs and can be used to cover registration fees, travel and
lodging, and incidentals. We encourage you to explore this opportuni
Eligibility: Nonprofits, health departments, community-based organizations, and other low-resource organizations located in the state of New York are eligible to apply. Applicants attending the conference must be employed through one of those organizations. NY Health Foundation will provide funding for organization staff to attend regional, state, or national level conferences.
Applications are due by May 5.
