As an enthusiastic champion of the Food as Medicine movement, Vic believes that healthy, nourishing food is a foundational pillar of the healthful and joy-filled human experience that all people deserve. Through his nine years of experience working with underserved and marginalized populations in healthcare and non-profit settings, and he now brings that belief to life in his current role as Food as Medicine Program Coordinator for The Food Pantries for the Capital District. He leans on his background in project management and nutrition education to continually explore food as medicine implementation methodologies and program designs. His next goal involves applying his passion for data analytics to delve into best practices around Food as Medicine data, especially data collection methodologies, data interoperability, and effective data storytelling.
