Julie (Julianne) Lewis, M.Ed is a Co-founder and the Saratoga Site Director for C.R.E.A.T.E. Community Studios. She is passionate about trauma informed embodied therapeutic work, integrating expressive art, mindfulness, somatic practices and social cohesion in her community. Julie authored C.R.E.A.T.E.’s proprietary curriculum which integrates Social/Emotional Learning (SEL), Mindfulness, Yoga and Expressive Art for youth. As the lead project manager of Erasing Spaces and Faces: The Legacy of Urban Renewal in Saratoga Springs, she has coordinated a social practice approach to crafting creative spaces to process socio-economic and racial injustices within the city of Saratoga Springs. Julie facilitates a variety of strength based and restorative practices that center marginalized voices to support the community in building diversity, equity, inclusion and opportunity among its residents.

Celebrating milestones like serving over two million meals in 2023, we're committed to nourishing bodies, minds, and spirits. While progress has been made, there's more work to be done. Through collaborative efforts and innovative approaches, we aim to reach every child in need. In our discussion, we'll explore the role of federal programs, community partnerships, and our vision for a summer filled with nutritious food and enriching experiences.
